I wanted to start today out by sharing with all who may read this, how thankful I am to God for all I have. At times, I want more..... but that's the childish side of me. I am very thankful to God first for the fact that without Christ dying on the cross for our sins, I would have no promise of a future worth living at all! Next? My family. I have three of the most beautiful, talented, big-hearted children that a mother could ever be given! My friends. I "know" many people, but the closest ones I call my "friends" are the most special. My "wawa" who lives in VA still gives so much of herself I'm honestly convinced she's a God-sent angel to me! She has helped me beyond words of gratitude on getting this blogspot set up and running, she has been there to listen to my belly-aching, she's there when I need a shoulder to cry on.... she's there NO MATTER WHAT! I love her closer than a sister and only wish God would bless me with lotsa money so I could help HER in times of her needs as much as she's helped me in MINE! My list goes on and on, but my heart wanted to start off sharing my thoughts on my family and closest friend today.
Ya'll have a great day today and a brighter tomorrow! Wawa.... I LOVE YA!

"Be still and KNOW....."
I was watching a horse program where a trainer was teaching a horse to lay down. This takes a great deal of trust on the horse's part, to be willing to be vulnerable to a human predator. Most horses are very resistant in the beginning, struggling with the trainer and hopping around, trying to maintain their upright position. Only through complete trust in the trainer can the horse give in to the ...cue to lay down and stay down. He eventually learns to find peace and rest in this position, and the trainer can even join the horse for a time of relaxation. Are we willing to give in to God's cue to rest? Or are we afraid to be vulnerable? There is peace and rest and fellowship waiting for us when we stop resisting His cue. Time to re-read Psalm 23.
